Weightloss - How Drinking Water Helps Weight to Come Off

Water plays a vital role in weight control from helping the digestive system work better to helping you achieve a sense of fullness after eating. Our bodies are composed of more than 66% water. We are constantly losing water from our bodies due to breathing, activity, and excretion of wastes. If we do not take in enough water every day, we will become dehydrated. Our bodies do not function as well when they are drier than normal. Many systems of the body suffer during dehydration, from digestion, to immunity, to weight gain. It is amazing to realize that you are already slightly dehydrated if you feel thirsty.

In order to take in sufficient water to help with weight-loss, start your day off with drinking a cool glass of water as soon as you wake up. This starts the replacement of water allowing your digestive hormones & enzymes to start flowing & helping your body to work better. More calories will be burned if you drink ice cold water. Digestion is improved with ample water intake and enables more nutrients to be obtained from the food.

The recommended amount of water is 8 - 12 glasses (8oz) per day. Drink your second one before you eat breakfast. This will help you feel full & satisfied more quickly and decrease your chances of over eating. This continues on with drinking your third glass of water during the meal by taking sips after each morsel. This will help the food to settle and begin the process of digestion faster. More nutrients can be removed from food when we are well hydrated.

Continue your water intake this way the rest of your day. If you want variety, you can make sugar-free lemon-aid with lemon juice and Stevia noncaloric sweetener. Also you can drink herbal teas to change up the taste. Herbal teas have many benefits for your health as well. Stay away from high calorie alcohols, sodas and juices. Diet soda is better than sugary soda, but definitely not as good for you as water. Sugar-free drink mixes (like Crystal Light) can be used to flavor the water for another variation.

Additional water can be obtained by eating fruits and vegetables which are mostly composed of water. Tomatoes and watermelons are approximately 90-95% water. Watermelon does have moderate sugar content, so enjoy it in moderation. Grapes have 65-75% water content but again watch out for the sugar content.

If you feel hungry and want a snack, drink a glass of water first. Often thirst is mistaken for hunger when we are slightly dehydrated. You will drop weight faster, the more water you drink within reason. Water is the perfect nutrient for your body to keep it working properly and to help you to feel energized. Tiredness is linked to dehydration as well as lack of rest.

Comparing Weightloss Workout Routines - Home VS Gym

Deciding on the best weight loss workout routine will depend on you. Each of them will take a bit of planning and dedication. In this article, you will find the many comparisons of working out at home or joining a gym. Based on the information, I hope it will help you decide which one will be the best weight loss workout routine for you.

Working out at home fitness you can get fast results. However, you need to plan first, and then follow through with your plan. If you are a self- motivator and will hold yourself accountable, this will work for you. Or, if you find it difficult keeping yourself on track, you could tell someone your goals and have them make you accountable.

From experience, I have found that if I set aside an hour each Sunday evening to plan my week, it makes my workout routine run smoothly. I make sure and plan the same time each Sunday. Establishing habits early will ensure your goals will get accomplished. During this hour, I plan out the days I am going to workout and what I am going to do and for how long. Then, I plan my meals. I feel they go hand in hand. If I work out, but overeat all the wrong foods, it will counteract my weight loss and I will get discouraged thinking working out at home isn't working.

That was how I establish my workout at home. Now, here are the benefits of working out at home.

You don't have to drive anywhere and that'll save you some time.

It's much more economical than joining a gym, which will have a monthly fee. Currently, I am now working out at home and have found this to be conducive my present schedule.

First, I purchased several workout tapes and 2 different sizes of weights. In the marketplace, there are definitely an abundance of workout tapes from Pilates to aerobics to choose from. In addition, I suggest that you alternate your workout routine, so you don't get bored.

The many complaints I find from people who try to work out at home find themselves putting it off. I highly suggest you also plan what time and stick to it. Making it the same time each time you work out, you'll find it'll become habitual sooner than if one day you workout in the morning, the next in the evening, etc. Because something always comes up and you'll put it off. I recommend you exercise in the morning before your day gets to hectic.

Joining a gym can have many benefits, as well. You just need to make sure it's going to work well with your schedule. Before you join a gym, I would highly recommend shopping different gyms, what they have to offer, and what your budget will allow. When I lived in California, my husband and I belonged to a gym that was awesome! We were both working full time, attending college, and needed somewhere to go for our workout routine.

Belonging to a gym fit our need at that time. It had a full court to play basketball, which my husband loved. He enjoyed shooting or the opportunity to pick up a game. I, on the other hand, loved working out on the treadmill or stairmaster while watching TV and using Woman Only weight room. So, the gym fit both our needs, and we had each other for motivation.

Once we were done working out, we would utilize the fully equipped locker room. It had a dry and wet sauna, hot tub, showers and ample space to get ready. After our workout, we'd go home and cook a healthy meal. We never thought of working out as a chore, but more as a much needed getaway and stress relief.

We chose to spend the money because the gym suited our needs during this time. Also, if additional help was needed in establishing a routine, the gym staff was always helpful or you could hire a personal trainer.

Hence, you need to sit down, write your goals down, and then decide on which one is going to help you get to your end goal. If you lack dedication, I recommend you join a gym and hire a personal trainer. The personal trainer will hold you accountable and train you the right way to establish healthy habits.

If you can hold yourself accountable and are on a budget, schedule your weight loss workout routine at home.
